How we became involved in Frank Frank Hamer in his own wor
Crystal Hamrick's Discovery
In Approximately 2012, Crystal was moving into a rental property with her family in Denver, CO. The landlord explained that the previous tenants had left what seemed like almost everything behind when they vacated the property. He was throwing everything in the trash & told her that if she helped get things cleaned out that she could take whatever she wanted & that it would allow her to move into the place sooner.
As she began sifting through what remained, as the landlord had already thrown away much of the contents of the home, she began to find numerous artifacts, photos, art & documents that belonged to the Hamer family with most of the info being about d to the Hamer family with to research the history of this family, She was amazed at what she discovered. Join us as we organize, g & archive these items. We will be sharing what we discover with you here on our website & so far it will shed light on history & uncover truth that has been debated for over 100 years. In order for us to understand the history of what we are archiving, we have obtained as much information about The Hamer family as possible. This allows us to realize what is being discussed in the letters written by Frank Hamer by putting together the factual history based the historical time line. Of the many items discovered, the most significant are the never before seen letters left behind by Frank, written to his beloved wife Gladys. We have a strong adoration & respect for Frank Hamer & we wish to honor him by telling the truth about this man's history from words straight from his mouth. Our goal is to honor this great American man. Frank Hamer is an amazing historical figure. No television show could compete with the true story of this man’s life. If Crystal hadn't taken the time to look through all this stuff, there is no doubt it would have all been lost forever & what we are trying to do now would be impossible. They included scrap books that Gladys had made for Frank, his various licenses including his highway patrol & hunting licenses, multiple pictures, western union messages between Frank & then president, Harry Truman regarding WWll, items related to Bonnie & Clyde, check signed by Hamer & letters.
- Approx 100 never before seen letters from Frank Hamer to his wife Gladys, letters from Gladys to Frank, letters from Gladys's father to her, letter from Gladys's mother to her all dating between 1917-1918 most letters include original envelope, stamp & postage date
