Join Us as we Preserve Frank Hamer's Legacy

Nearly 20 years ago, I moved into a rental property with my family. The landlord told me that the previous tenants had left many items behind when they vacated the property. He was getting rid of the stuff that was left behind and told me that I could take anything I found useful & dispose of the rest. As I began to go through the abandoned property, I saw some things that peaked my interest & so I decided to research the person who was at the center of these belongings and discover that the person who had abandoned the property was a close family member of a man named Frank Hamer. At the time I had limited knowledge of who this man was but after discovering & realizing the historic value of some of the items I was going through, I was astounded & from then on I have been hooked. Learning everything I could about Frank Hamer then going through all the documents, photographs & artifacts I began to discover all the misinformation and truth that had not been reported accurately & it has become my mission to preserve, archive & document these precious items. My goal is & always has been to honor this great American  man . I have come to realize what an amazing historical figure Frank Hamer was . I concluded that no television show could compete with the true story of this man’s life & I’ve been fascinated by his life which inspired me to write a serious of books to set the record straight & tell the true story of Frank Hamer through the messages, notes & documents he left behind that come from the man himself.

Most of us have not kept or intend to keep our distant family members old letters & belongings  & they typically are lost to time. Unfortunately before I realized the historical significance of what was left behind in my rental home, many items were in fact thrown away.  I believe things happen for a reason & I am so thankful  that I took the time  to really look through the abandoned items or they would have been lost forever. Perhaps Frank & Gladys had a hand in making sure there items were not all lost to time. I’m just beyond grateful to be linked to this amazing family. 

I wish I could have saved everything, but I saved what I could and I hope that I will honor Frank by telling his story through the artifacts that I saved. There are many items that were also left that were not directly related to Frank but realted to other members of the family that will also be included in the archive. I hope that family members, historians, and or anyone else that has more informaiton or can help me in this journey will reach out to me. I would love to work together and make sure that we honor this amazing man.
